Little Misfortune

After i finished the game i feel like a need to give a little feedback with a review: Overall i really liked Little Misfortune. The art, the music, the atmosphere, the voice acting and the story were all really well done. But i have to admit: I think Fran Bow was a better game overall. The world felt more detailed, less linear and there were a lot more things to do and explore and characters to interact with. But I still really liked Little Misfortune and recommend it to everyone who likes a good interactive story. But i hope in the future Fran Bow 2 or any other games (still hoping for Different Galaxy, the concept sounds really interesting) from Killmonday games will offer a bit more gameplay and interaction with the world and it's inhabitants. Overall i'd give Little Misfortune a rating of 7.5 of 10 points. It's good, but not great and very short (took me about 3 1/2 hours).

I enjoyed this game, but unfortunately it was too short. A full walkthrough takes about three hours, there is only one ending, and the choices have no real impact on the story, though we are told otherwise. The plot is also kind of predictable. Other than that, the art and the dialogue were very nice. I just wish it lasted longer.

What a wonderful little game! It deals with some very mature topics but in a childlike and almost magical way. It's very short (took me a little under 3 hours) but I think it has great replayability. Recommended!

While it's made by the same people who made Fran Bow it's not really a point and click adventure, it's basically a interactive story with little convensional gameplay. There are some choices that lead to some different outcomes and a bunch of hidden secrets, (that you should seek out to get the good ending). It's funny, cute, sad, creepy and weird, and at first the wildly different tones clash and are all over the place, but it works for the most part. You will probably finish it in 3-4 hours so it's not terribly long but well worth a playthrough.
