Great if you know what to expect...
I did beat Iridion 3D initially when it came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2001. It was a short but technically impressive game for it's platform. The gameplay was often critizised for being too basic. I did feel similarly at the time. But replaying this GOG release I noticed liking it for being different and kind of basic AND of course for being a gorgeous. But I'm aware that it helps knowing and liking games of that era for enjoing the presentation. The emulation is really good BUT since this is GBA game you should CONTROL THIS VIA D-PAD. Using the analog stick to stear does technically work but it reacts clunky to changing directions since actual analog controls have not been implemented. Besides that I have another small gripe with the game. The background picture around the emulation window can (to my knowledge) not be changed or turned off. Iridion II here on GOG has just black borders around the game which I personally like better. I hope Piko brings more GBA games to GOG. They have the rights to more nice GBA releases like Racing Fever. So why not? :-)
