Ridiculously Good!

The best Indy game since The Fate of Atlantis and The Emperor's Tomb. Really hope this becomes a series of games. 1. Insane attention to detail (actually features a full fledged museum with detailed exhibits and actual descriptions for almost every item). 2. Brilliant sound design. Sounds exactly like the movies! Voice acting is excellent as well. Troy Baker actually pulls off a really good Harrison Ford. 3. Stealth is basic, but effective and rewarding. Think Chronicles of Riddick, Alien Isolation or a stripped down Thief. 4. Hand to hand combat is visceral and impactful. You can feel the weight of every punch thanks to the animation and sound. 5. Exploration genuinely adds to the sense of adventure and actually rewards you. 6. Extremely respectful to the depicted cultures and their history as well as native languages. 7. Puzzles range from decent to excellent. 8. Runs really well on my setup (Ryzen 7 7800x3d / RTX 4070S / 32GB DDR5). Only issues I have with it thus far: 1. Visual artifacts during some cuts cutscenes. (Has been patched since release on Steam) 2. Lack of manual save option. 3. Side activites do become somewhat repetitive.

Fantastic Release

Giving this a 5 star rating to balance out the person who unfairly gave it 1 star just because of the price (it’s the same price on Steam, and actually more expensive there right now). Clearly, they don’t understand that supporting these releases helps bring more great games to GOG. As for the game itself, it's an absolute blast. The gameplay is great, the graphics look fantastic, and both the story and the puzzles are a lot of fun. I also love the variety of environments you get to play in. This game definitely deserves 5 stars.

Indy is back!

The Great Circle is some of the most fun I've had gaming in years. Yes its pricey, but its so worth it. The story is compelling, the game play fun and engaging. Troy Baker's voice acting is so spot on, you forget he isn't Harrison Ford. And now you can get it DRM Free? Sign me up!

Best(only) Indy movie since Last Crusade

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a fun game. No deep, complicated mechanics, nothing really innovative. But it's very well made, solid, and great fun to play. Where it really shines is the way it delivers a movie-like experience, with a story and presentation that really holds up with the real Indy movies. Let's just forget Crystal Skull and (shudder) Dial of Destiny. The Great Circle is the fourth Indiana Jones movie we've been waiting for since 1989. There are no annoying "millenial writing" characters in this game, either. Gina Lombardi, who would be the prime suspect of "Waller-Briding" through the game, is smart, likeable, relatable, and occasionally also sufficiently clumsy, to make her the perfect sidekick for an equally well written protagonist. Special kudos to Troy Baker, who sounds just like Harrison Ford in this game. Fantastic voice acting, this guy deserves extra praise. So basically, you can't go wrong with this game, on two conditions: beefy enough hardware, and a sale - because 80$ is just too much for any video game.

One of the best movie adaptation ever

I played this game on a different platform last year and it was perhaps the most fun I had playing a movie adaption like this one. Admittedly, the bar is quite low but the game runs very well, the plot is engaging and Troy did an amazing job portraying the character. I can't recommend this game enough, especially if you're a fan of Indiana Jones. Lots of reference to the movies!
