In Helping the Hotties, you are a psychology college student, ready to finally spend the summer with your super hot girlfriend. But, instead of spending the summer with her, you receive an unexpected phone call...
The next morning, you're on a bus going to work at a behavioral rehabilitation camp. And as you’ll soon learn, this year will be different…
Your goal is to lead a group of four beautiful attendees through their journey of self-improvement and reintegration into society while trying to remain as professional as possible... and maintain a long-distance relationship.
It might prove more challenging than you expect. Every girl has a different personality, her whims and wants and it’s up to you to keep them satisfied.
Are you up for the task while under the watchful gaze of the head camp counsellor, Eve? She has her eye on you. And she’s not the only one!
Plenty of fun as you get to meet the beautiful camp attendees, who will surprise you at every turn

I am only an hour into this game, and I am kinda bored. The dialog is, although fully voiced, not great. I have seen a few of the "adult" scenes and the animations are stilted.
The truth is I have played free "adult" games with render quality that is just as good if not better, and had better fluid (and more jiggly) animations. Maybe the dialog will improve through out the game, but I am not optimistic.
The models and object detail are good except food. There is a scene where they pan fry corn on the cob and another where they eat burgers with no buns. Dinner is literally one burger patty on the plate with nothing else that they eat by hand. The music is decent but repetitive. The free roam parts are good because the game does a good job of letting you know where you have to go as well as having a good map. The lewd scenes are well done. The story is decent but the game ends without answering many questions as well as squanders an opportunity to go in a dark direction I was interested in. There is little resolution to much outside of the girls issues. Even with them there is little detail. You don't even find out what events sent many of them there in the first place. The mini game where you have to navigate the mouse cursor inside of a line is decent but overused. There are lots of different maps you have to do to beat it but the mechanics are the same each time. The voice acting ranges from decent to bad even with specific voices. For instance at times Eve sounds normal but other times sounds damn near robotic. There are also a slew of issues related to the voice acting such as the volume of voices getting very low at times then going back to normal, audio not matching the text on the screen, and audio skipping so there is silence for gaps. There is also the issue of them not saying whatever name you choose for the main character so there is just an audio silence gap for his name. I would have preferred not getting to name him just for the audio to not have that unnatural gap. There was also a few times where the audio had an echo after being said. There was also one time where my name on screen simply said "mc". Despite all this I enjoyed the game. I liked the interaction between the girls and the mc and appreciated the growth they had. There were also a lot of choices throughout to branch the game towards which characters you wanted to see more of.
I finished "Helping the Hotties" from that GOG bundle. I was pleasently surprised by how good of a Visual Novel the game was. Its not perfect, but the writing was much better than I expected and it wasn't all just, "ah yes, girls are here at this camp for the mentally ill and you are here to give them their medicince, nice hard d***." It was actual issues that required therapy, 2 of the girls were there at their choice, 1 was sent by family, 1 was sent with a court order. And believe it or not, you actually help them with their problems without f****** them, you still can of couse, so I did. kek. It has the branching paths like any VN would have, and boy does it have them, there are a ton of different paths. I kept trying to keep up with them all but just said "eh" it after I though i had them all synched up and then got like 3 different interactions because of pathing choices deeper in. The mini games were terrible though, click on objects to remove them, or trace your mouse inside the path and dont go outside the lines, terrible. They do offer collectibles in the scenes where you may see someone's panties and you can get a screenshot of them as a reward. All in all it was a surprisingly good game, much better than what i expected out of a gooner game.
I give it a "surprisingly good coom / coom"
Also, because the H scenes take a while to get to they give you this xray option to see the woman in lingerie or nude. There are some scenes that are replicated by mistake, such as taking the therapy session with Woman A and going through that to then come back around to have the therapy session with Woman B still ends up playing the scene image "chose Woman B first over Woman A." Just some minor things that can be overlooked. Voice Acting is okay, i normally kept it off because i was reading faster than they were talking.
Many elements make this Visual Novel a good experience. Design from NPCs to cheerful surroundings made a great impression. You can also freely set up your experience to be more enjoyable with all the cool settings additions (for example, turning off pretty frustrating mini games). The main plot, with a nice mix of sex, goofiness, and even paranormal elements, can also be called a worthy element... until you reach the empty and sudden end. So sudden that you'll see the credits when technically the main character still has weeks of stay ahead in this area.
It seems that xRedGames either lost track of time and woke up on deadline day for publishing or, in the blink of an eye, lost all the interest and ideas connected with story development. Many interesting threads remained unfinished, and a limited number of story choices (compared to different amazing games like "Being a DIK" or "Leap Of Faith") doesn't lead to too many different endings.
Such a shame that the finish does not live up to HTH's potential. Possible solution? Proper DLC gives players the possibility to go through the whole summer, and possibly give us a cliffhanger/spoiler hinting that another season will come. Unfortunately, it seems very unlikely that's why, with all the advantages, "Helping The Hotties" should be labeled as a major disappointment.
