Gargoyles Remastered

Gargoyles is without doubt one of the best animated series ever, my absolute favorite. I always loved Gargoyles, so I’m really thrilled with this release. The game is a great classic and this impressive remaster makes it even better. The original was very good for its time, but the remaster is a total improvement, both in graphics and gameplay. The new graphics are beautiful, now the characters look exactly as in the animated series. Really excellent about this remaster is also that you can switch to the original 1995 game at any time, so if you prefer the classic look and music, it’s all included. I personally enjoy this game much more in the remastered graphics. Regarding gameplay, the original game was challenging, but the remaster does a great job at giving you the option to make it easier and much more fun with its rewinding of time and saving features. Overall, I totally recommend this very well done remaster!

I'm still in the 900's, not sure if the game goes to a modern era, didn't play it when it came out for the Genesis years back. But platform jumpers have to played in small doses otherwise they can get annoying, for me personally. Despite the requirements, the game does run on Windows 7, you just won't get support for it, and the original Genesis version can be enabled on the fly which is very retro. I hope it goes to a more modern time, Vikings get old kind of fast, but I rented this game when it came out, so I never got past a boss level. Gargoyles just aren't as goth in Scotland as they are in New York, the darkness and atmosphere is lacking in Scotland.
