Our planet – ravaged by catastrophic climate change – is a land of swamp, rust and decay. The survivors gather in small clans, existing off the refuse and detritus of a bygone world with a constant need for food and fresh water.
The old social divides are gone; survivors join clans based on shared values as they strive to reshape society in their own image as they work to restart civilisation.
This mix of dystopian optimism is reflected in the graphic style of the game and Floodland – Stories and Art will help you explore the world of Floodland in greater depth.
A collection of short stories, written by an experienced fantasy author, support the visually stunning narrative and give a deeper insight into the events and emotional world you and the survivors inhabit in Floodland. Exciting stories underline the setting and give deeper insights while the unique graphical setting and artwork for the game is fully explored – from concept drawings through to full implementation.
