Europa Universalis III: Heir to the Throne
Requested by the fans, Heir to the Throne is the third expansion to the preeminent historical strategy game Europa Universalis III. The expansion takes the hugely successful game beyond Complete, with improvements across the board:
- Intriguing Casus Belli system, where wars have specific goals from start to finish.
- Monarchs now belong to dynasties, with far reaching effects on the diplomatic model.
- More involving and powerful Holy Roman Empire and Papacy options.
- Special diplomatic options for Republics.
- Set your National Focus in a province to enhance growth and strengthen your hold in the region.
- Permanent Terra Incognita removed and replaced with impassable regions.
- Cultural Tradition allows better advisors in the same way that Military Tradition allows better generals and admirals.
- Many other additions and improvements.

Europa Universalis III: Divine Wind
At the demand of the devout fanbase, this is the 4th expansion of the classic historical strategy game Europa Universalis III. Enhancing every aspect of the game to create an even deeper and more rewarding experience:
- New graphical style, with detailed and beautiful maps, including lots of new provinces.
- Play as any of the four major daimyo’s in Japan and vie for influence over the Emperor and control over the Shogunate.
- Enhanced diplomacy, with more options for alliances and peace negotiation.
- Dozens of new types of buildings, where you have greater control over the development of your provinces.
- More realistic development of trade, with control over strategic resources giving bonuses.

Daylight robbery.

Twelve years, that's right, twelve years after the release of the, admittedly, quite good EU3 was released, we are asked to pay £7 for some very amateur 'sprites' rustled up in MSpaint by some young myopic gap year apprentice of the day. £7. Proof if any extra were needed that paradox exists only to squeeze every last penny from your bank account at virtual gun-point if required. Morally and creatively bankrupt, paradox are the gift that keep giving. Please do not support such villainry in our gaming industry.

Wanna feel robbed?

Then buy this pack. It's not GOG's fault, it's Paradox going full-on greed. EU3 without at least HTTT expansion is unplayable (your mileage on DW might vary, but HTTT is a must-have). But don't worry, for HTTT is sold in separate package! At twice the pricetag of the baseline game! Over a decade after release! I literally bought this cheaper in physical copy on premiere than it is priced today. And that even after including inflation. Screw you, Paradox.

A must have for EU3 players

It adds two expansions to the game not included in 'Europa Universalis III Complete', 'Heir To The Throne' and 'Divine Wind', and also includes the additional sprite packs and music add-on. This DLC upgrade is a MUST to get the most out of EU3! Additional game mechanics and additions aside, the beautiful new maps alone are worth the price of admission, imo.

Insanely addictive

As the tittle indicates, I found this game insanely addictive like few others. I must have spent 3 weeks playing it almost compulsivly and for me that's an ever rare experience after decades of being a gamer. I played this initially without the expansion (over a few days just to get a feel, when I didn't have time to play games). Altough I'll agree game+expansion is slightly overpriced, if you are seriously thinking of enjoying this the expansion will be worth your money given the enhanced experience you get. I rate this 4 starts, because as usual with Paradox so many rules/functionalities are either obscured or outright limit your experience. The game has a considerable learning curve, yet once you've mastered the rules the overall strategic considerations still feel limiting, after 100 years in-game it seems most strategic value is nearly exauhsted. And it takes too long to play.
