Resolution issue
If you're having an issue where the game won't keep your video resolution, full screen and language settings, try just setting the one that says "windowed, full screen or borderless" to borderless. It stops the resetting and asking which language at startup.

One of the best FPS gameplays.
It's major selling point was the graphics and the physics engine back in the day. But they overshadowed the fact that playing with the Suit and stalking North Korean soldiers Predator style is REALLY a lot of fun, and I really whish that was the focus of the series instead of going the Aliens way. Graphics still hold up after all these years, but I can notice that the models are low poly in comparison to what we have today. Still great gameplay, highly recomend playing it.

Very good fps
Now this is just my kind of game: fps with a immersive story, some stealth elements, but that if you don't care that much can too go blast everything. Graphics are fine, action is not too less not too much. And you are in a tropical paradise with a powered suit.

enjoying it for what it is
as someone who never got to play the original and prefers using a controller for most games, i do find this game fun. the checkpoint system is not amazing, there are some minor graphical glitches but nothing major and the AI can be very stupid on both sides. but overall i am enjoying myself thus far.
