Short demo, generic writing, bad UI...

Thanks to the developers for providing a demo. More games should do that. Unfortunately, after playing I will be avoiding this game even as someone who would like more story driven games and is fine with visual novels and simple graphics. The writing is very generic. So far it seems like a relaxed verison of cook, serve, delicous without the time limit and with few choices. I'm not sure if there is supposed to be time pressure later in the game (would be helpful to clairify in the description). The music in the demo was also minimal and generic. The demo is very short, at least if you set text speed to fast or instant, which you should do before starting since the default setting is excruciatingly slow even as a slow reader (you can click to get the full text during the intro if you forget). There isn't much to do but the UI to do it is quite bad (it looks like a drop down menu but the only thing you can do is pick items from the shelf). After trying a few minutes I couldn't do anything even minimally decent looking with the latte art.

A good foundation, but in need of more

As it is right now, this is a decent demo, but I'm not sure it would hold for a full game. The concept is nice and the aesthetic is good, but without much gameplay, this game is going to live or die on the quality of it's characters and story writing, and right now, those are kind of bland. There's not a lot here to keep one invested in the stories being told. Still, there's the basis for a good visual novel here, it just needs some more work put into the writing to make for a more memorable experience. It would also be nice if the game gave you a few more hints to the fact that the story can change depending on whether you get drinks right or wrong. The demo never gave any incentive to go back and try a different combination, so I only discovered it later. Might be something to think about.

Simply put, boring

I've unfortunately wasted my time playing the full version through. I was very early on quite sceptic about "storyline" as it felt as really boring soap opera. But there happened to be couple characters which I thought could possibly create interesting stories. Well I wish I wouldn't have thought so as in the end it's all sloppily written soap opera. I wish I could have spent time back. Well luckily it was on Gamepass and played it for free. If one is expecting remarkable stories and twist. I can help you. There aren't any. Heck there isn't virtually even any gameplay.

It's a barista game and I like it

I don't know why others rate it so low. This is exactly what being Barista is like. The game builds in an alternate world like in the Bright (2017) movie and similar. This is very cool and I liked it a lot. The mundane dialogues are in fact compelling when they are your cup of tea. Sorry, there's no possible action happening at night in a coffee shop. It is that kind of atmosphere that very few people enjoy. Personally I was immersed in it and story of elf and succubus from the demo was great, perhaps simple, but I liked it nonetheless. This is a good game for something that was built on top of a jam game.

maybe "not Romeo/Juliet"-stories r great

...so I don't want to be harsh on it facts are: a hint of a "romeo and juliet"-like story... or "west side story" (I really wouldn't go there, but here it is) some management stuff, perhaps, when having to make drinks and food for all the visitors? the milk art was the most interesting part for me, although you can do whatever you want, his comment will be the same (for now?)... and a writer overcoming her writer's block my character didn't say a word, but must have said something... so I guess that was "dialogue options" still being hidden... "Branching storylines, where the branches are determined not by the dialogue options you choose, but from how you serve your café customers" is the most intruiging part of their game description... for I don't know how that is going to work.
