Boxville 2, from Triomatica Games, is the next part of an adventure game about cans living in a box city.
Two can friends had an important job from the mayor to set up fireworks for the city's celebration. But due to a mistake, the fireworks went off wrong, causing chaos in the city. Worse, one of the friends went missing. Now, the main character, a red can, has to explore different areas and secret spots in Boxville and even travel outside the city to fix everything and find his friend.
What you can expect to see and hear in Boxville:
- Hand-drawn graphics — all backgrounds and characters are carefully drawn by our artists.
- Every animation and sound is created especially for each interaction.
- Unique music track was created for every scene to accomplish the atmosphere of the game.
- Tens of logical puzzles and mini-games are tightly incorporated into the story of the game.
- There are no words in the game — all characters communicate via cartoony sketches.

Here we go again.. Boxville
Oh man, I do love some Boxville! Glad they put out a second adventure. I'd say that this one is two step forwards and one step back... which is still a step in the right direction! We have a much larger world here for better and for worst. It starts out playing like a more traditional point and click adventure game.. we have a bunch of areas linked together with lots of variables to try to piece together. Along with some logic puzzles that require some pretty solid head scratching. Then you go off on a sort of adventure. Which is sort of fun, but the problem is each chapter of your journey is only a handful of rooms, with only two or three items max it seems... Instead of trying to figure out how to piece things together, you are generally playing a little mini game... like Battleship... or Ro Sham Bo (sp?). This is still fun, but it sort of takes away from what they had going with the early point and click adventure dynamic. This also makes some areas fly by in an instance, which seems a bit sad as the art is so nice, I would love to be forced to stick around it for longer! It took about 4.5 hours with no hints or walkthroughs, so it's a nice little jaunt through the park. I'd love to see a third one! Perhaps with a built out badguy... and instead of just on some vast adventure, keep it in one city and really get some coherant world building going. Go Boxville!

Very nice game
I love it... when a Boxville 3 ? ;-) Just a remark, I have enjoyed all the mini games... but one of them is a little illogical... it is about the use of a stapler in the game. And seriously, this isn't logical and fair... I tried everything with it and I was surprised that what I found was the solution. I think that everyone will have a problem with it...
