Good
I recommend this for fans of board games. It's a very nice casual game turn based game.

not fun
The game has great art, but the gameplay is boring and you'll see all there is to be shown in the first 3 hours or so. After that, the game loop gets very tedious, with a few changes here and there to pretend there's something actually new. As a board game, it lacks strategic depth. You have about 5 types of pieces you can use. There are no dices thrown, you know beforehand the result of your actions. The problem is that the game possibilities are few and shallow, if you play it well then the player who had better luck in scouting the fog of war wins. The moves you should make are obvious, it becomes a chore to play it. Although the game idea is flawed, there is one quality of life improvement that could make me spend more time with the game: fast animations. The game currently has only 2 modes: animations / no animations. So if you skip your enemy's animation, you need to sort of guess what happened in the last turn (e.g. remember who isn't there anymore, where they were before being killed). The game gives you some cues, there are footprints showing you the enemy walked there, but you don't get to see why etc. I hope they add other unit types or some type of depth to it, the art (visual and sound) is great after all.
