Confusing, Cumbersome, Boring

Really wanted to like this game. But I just can't. It's full of little annoyances. Minigames that make little to no sense. Interactive Computer Screens expecting some magic words. And then I often have no clue what to do after some cut scene. It just isn't all too clear. The sound settings are a bit strange too. Background music ist constantly overpowering voices even so I turned it down to it's minimum, just shy of off. For me at least the subtitles are a must. Interaction with objects requires multiple clicks. If you miss, do it again. After a while it becomes very cumbersome. The inventory also has a mind of it's own. As far as the story goes it's not gripping me at all. Playing this game doesn't fill me with excitement. I played on for a while to see where it's going but eventually gave up. I'm really into these kinds of games and I bought this one because House of Tales made one of my all time favorite adventure tames. But 15 Days doesn't live up to it at all.

Total waste of time

If you like adventure games, if you consider yourself a connoisseur of point and clicks - this game is a disappointment in every regard. If you are new to adventure gaming, this is not the place to start, and I would advise you to look elsewhere for something better. I've attempted to play this game twice and have given it every concession low budget adventure games can be allowed. The concept from the outset is unbelievable and its hard to like the characters you are introduced to, this is not taking into consideration the poorly delivered dialogue. It has a very flat tone, and it sounds like the voice actors are struggling with pronunciation. It does nothing to help how you feel about the people you meet, and certainly does not make you care about their situation. The 'lovable rogue' is the archetype aimed for, and its missed by a long shot and its a disappointment. Technically the game looks dated even for 2010, and its pre-rendered scenes are somewhat 'ill' looking and basic. This is not helped by jarringly simple animation and rudimentary interaction with objects that you have as a player. This game is a curio of point and click, and should be treated as such. If you really must experience every single adventure game of the naughties, then give this game a go by all means. Just brace yourself for a total lack of charm and execution.

Not that bad

The story is imaginative and the characters are created as individuals, which is not the case in every adventure game. Unfortunately because the game lacks stability (in my case on Windows 10) , you have to save often. There are not many different branches in the story and at some points it seems, that the developers were running out of time. Nevertheless, I enjoyed playing the game I bought with low price as a special offer until the end.

Flawed, but worth a buck

TL;dr Version: I gave this game 3/5 stars because I didn’t totally hate it, and it was short enough to enjoy it for what it is. Nice to look at, decent story, good voice acting but terrible audio mixing. Rather easy (despite an impossible puzzle or two, but those are skippable); likely to disappoint seasoned point-and-click adventure gamers, but might be nice for a beginner to the genre. -- 15 Days is a visually beautiful game for 2010 -- the characters and the environment look great, and there were very few moments when something about the 3D animation went wonky and took me out of the moment. In fact, one of my chief complaints is that so much of the game environment is beautifully rendered, and yet you interact with SO little of it. The game doesn’t really let you look at or interact with much unless it’s specifically needed to progress, so it kinda removes some of the “adventure” from adventure gaming. The gameplay was smooth. You spend a good deal of time going to and from the same handful of locations, but it doesn’t feel like TOO much backtracking. However, another of my primary complaints is how EMPTY this big beautiful space felt. For example, you visit the London eye multiple times – a huge tourist attraction in the center of London – in the middle of a bright summer day, and there’s NO ONE there... literally no one. Did we miss a cut scene where the apocalypse happened? WHERE ARE ALL THE PEOPLE? All in all, this whole game felt emptier than Club Electronique at 9pm on a weeknight. (IYKYK) There were practically zero NPCs that you could interact with in any way, unless they were specifically part of the story. Voice acting was good -- sound mixing, on the other hand, was terrible – make sure you have subtitles on. The characters were good, but not particularly memorable, interesting or likeable – I don’t think anyone will be clamoring for the protagonists to reassemble for a sequel.

EXCELLENT

i loved the game. great storyline, well rounded characters, a lot of suspense, you wish it lasted longer. the only objection is that it crashes quite often, so save as soon as you can. the graphics could be better, but they are not bad either. i would love to see a remake with the more advanced graphics. or even a sequel. a thoroughly enjoyable experience. i highly recommend it to all who love this type of games, especially when you can get it on discount.
