Dear diary,

Hell may be other people but they had enough decency to not gnaw on your head to get to the brains within. Every sunrise I see means we are that much closer to escaping the slavering zombie hordes that hunt in the night. We lost some good people in the last few days: Sam, whom we “convinced” that she should go with the Piper as live bait to lure some of the undead away from here, Zeke went out to explore to look for supplies...last I heard of him were his screams of pain in the distance. Zafehouse: Diaries is a tactical game of survival, planning, resource management, and problem-solving. Every town, location, and survivor is dynamically generated - no two games are the same. Manage your survivors’ needs, prejudices and motivations and you might stay around long enough to be rescued. Send out search parties to gather supplies and anything useful. Spread rumors to affect relationships between members of your group. Zafehouse: Diaries’ unique, diary-based interface records your actions, reveals the state of the world, provides hints and clues to help you. Your diary can also be exported and shared when the game is over.

Great Change of Pace

I got this direct from developer and will soon pick it up again on GOG...I find the implementation very good; although I would consider reading the manual if you don't want to do a lot of trial and error. Developer seems to be keeping up with some fairly regular updates at well. Not a shooter, but a fun and unique "Zombie" game in a sea of the undead games out now...

An unpolished, unfinished gem

This game is quite addictive and unique, even in the overcrowded zombie genre. Without giving too much away, it is definitely unlike any other "Z" title I've played before. You can tell the game is currently a "work in progress" and some of the issues would be inexcusable were it not from an indie developer. That being said, it's probably best to buy this game now and get in on the ground floor, because I smell a Steam greenlight for sure...

I like the visual style and the idea itself, but it turned out that this game bores me to death! Nevertheless cool concept and nice work!
