Synopsis
In the last of Western Han Dynasty, the powerful prime minister of China superseded his emperor and build a new dynasty called Xin. In this year, words appeared on the boulders, stone cattles appeared in fields, and ancient tombs cracked, tremendous signs appeared, told a time of peace and prosperity will come. A peculiar bamboo slip in the crypt of Marquis of Liu was delivered to Court Astrologer's hand.
Unexpectedly, Taishi Mansion was badly damaged by a bizarre fire that night, and all his family was killed in the fire and the bamboo slip disappeared.
Ten years later, the prosperity mentioned in the prophecy has never come. A decade of war and famine, the people were miserable, and the chaos had spread among the country.

A smooth combo-based combat system contains elements such as Active Skills, Dodge, Block, Riposte.
Elysium Scroll
Elysium Scroll is a bamboo scroll that can be used as a key to Elysium, capable of absorbing monsters, creating items, and more. It can provide several techniques and mechanics during the adventure.
Elysium Rift: Taishi Zhao's ultimate technique; slows down the time around him. In this state, he can alter the physical properties of nearby objects.
Imprison and Fusion Lab: Players can absorb monsters into the Elysium as refining materials for Fusion Lab. Fusion Lab can not only produce new monsters with different shapes and abilities, but also spin Passive Skills out sometimes, which are used to improve Taishi Zhao’s ability.
Various facilities set in Elysium for improving armors and weapons, as well as developing passive Skills.
The Mohists and their “Mechanics”

Quite a good game. The story is well written and the combat isn't nearly as clunky as I thought it would be. I even liked the puzzles which is rare for me. It is obvious that a lot of passion went into making this one and I would definitely recommend it.
Some things to consider:
- Traversing the world sort of feels like The Witcher 2 in that you are a bit restricted with where you can walk.
- The English subtitles are really good for the most part, with occasional spelling mistakes or misused words. Nothing serious though.
- Very few bugs. Only encountered two minor bugs/glitches the entire playthrough.
- Save points aren't always readily available, so save whenever you get the chance.
- Limited equipment to manage. You basically have the same weapons the entire game but can upgrade them. For armor and accessories there are multiple options.
- Switching between enemies is a bit frustrating if you use the lock-on system, however it's not that much of an issue unless you're fighting a whole bunch.
- There are treasure chests hidden everywhere so make sure to explore everything as some are quite tucked away.
This games feeling is better compared to Dragon's Dogma.
More like a fusion of Nioh and Dragon's Dogma.
Although it doesn't have the same budget, it has the same heart and soul, if you know what i mean.
Beautifull graphics, inspiring soundtrack and a somewhat confusing but functional gameplay mechanics.
You can evolve through a skill tree and change equipment with stats and perks.
It has a very enjoyable version of chinese chess.
The rest is the same standards as all others, vilages, characters, towns, side quests, monsters, maps, treasures, gameworld like FF X , beautiful but more on the linear side.
Has some dialogue options that shape your path.
The story is different and refreshing, very oriental based on ancient chinese philosophy and mythology.
It's very quirky but at the same time very Anime like.
It has some flaws in the pop up department and sometime confusing story, and only chinese language voices.
But it surelly stands out and sometimes above other well known titles, if you give it a chance.

Le jeu accuse de graves problèmes pour le mappage des touches au clavier et à la souris puisque certaines touches ne sont tout simplement pas reconnues et ou non affichées sur l'ATH.
Tout est jouable jusqu'au QTE qui impose d'utiliser la touche 1 du clavier, mais qui n'est pas reconnue. En changeant le touche 1 par une quelconque autre touche, le QTE ne prend pas en compte la nouvelle configuration de la touche.
Impossible de poursuivre au clavier AZERTY.

I first downloaded the demo on Steam, and my first impression after playing the game for about 15 minutes was: I finally found the hidden gem I was looking for – peaceful, beautiful music, a nice and unique (even though very simple) story, and the refreshing feeling of something different after being overwhelmed by repetitive AAA games. All this made me decide that I must get the full game. So, I bought the full version here on sale. But after a couple of hours of playing, I regret wasting money on this game. The gameplay is extremely linear. The world is full of invisible walls, with no exploration and no open world. Combat on hard mode is quite easy and not satisfying. When you realize that for the price of this game you can get so many better games, it is hard to rate it more than two stars. Recommended only for those who have too much money and have already played all the good games.
