Nice XCOM
Good, but I have problems on MacOS: problems with unassign wounded soldiers and with speed control during interceptions. 2D graphics creates problem with visibility behind walls.

A Modern Classic
I've been gushing about this one in the forums for a few months now so I'll keep this short and sweet. This game is an incredibly smooth, playable and polished XCOM lovingly returned to a new generation of gamers. It stands up beautifully alongside both the original source material and the recent (and also very good!) Firaxis reskin. It adds and subtracts a bit here and there in the terms of mechanics; but nothing feels overly streamlined or unnecessary. It oozes eerie atmosphere and any complaint I might have is ultimately small, superficial and most importantly never takes away from the sheer enjoyment of playing the game. There's a lot to love here, both for the nostalgic gamer and any newcomer meeting this one for the first time. While much of my praise is couched in the bias of an enormous XCOM fan, make no mistake this game is a tactical strategy and strategic management gem. It stands up unbelievably well on its own rights and I can't see any reason why, 20+ years from now, someone isn't remaking THIS game. It really is a modern classic in every sense.

Hidden "GEM"
"Deep Tactical Combat" Soldier with Heavy Machine gun sees an alien, starts a "Reaction fire" in the backs of his 3 comrades(1st one is a scout with a shield who was gona toprotect our "hero") effectively killng them all and making other to flee in terror later gets oneshoted by the same alien. :EpicFacePalm ∞/10 Like a year ago I stepped from the ship to walk the land, well it seems sails times are ahead again.

Starts amazing, but horrible AI cheating
As I stated at first it starts really amazing, everything goes well and difficulty scales niceley. Nostalgia hit is strong in this one. However, after some time, oince you are hitting alien cruisers, 95% hit chance for your troops will feel like 5%, damage that enemy can resist is unbelweavable, yet enemey units will hit increasingly better. Your toops will have frustratingly bad abilities even on lowest diffiulties. As time passes by, your troops, even those with rank of Major, will use granades under their own feet. Unless developer do some balance cvhanges, avoid this title and it's upcoming sequel.
