Dont Starve but you can't starve

I will be straight forward here. The game is great. Its easy.. no i mean eazzyyy, its like Dont starve on toddler mod. However its interesting and the story trys to show you what kinda people you meet in everyday life :) I will not spoil the mechanics or anything its just point and click although you can use your keyboard to navigate easier. This game has no narration so bear that in mind. It has simple puzzles and some lite humor. I guess this game is aimed for younger player or your mom or girlfirend or.. OR.. thoes indie connoisseurs. To be compleatly honest i'm not a big Indie game fan, and even if i got my hands on very good indie title I tend to drop it after sometime in favor of my favorite genre. So why did I buy it? because I felt like Im playing the same type of genre over and over again and Im getting bored or old.

Relaxing, beautiful gem - good support!

I purchased this game for my wife (she's usually quite discerning about games) and she absolutely loves it. The graphics are really beautiful and she finds it fun, relaxing and fulfilling to play. We did run into some bugs however, that stopped the story progressing. The reason that it's still a 5/5 rating is that we raised a ticket with the Devs (I assume other's did too of course), and it was resolved after 1 week - they pushed an update and it was sorted. Really great the Devs are so responsive - top job!

The first four souls were fun, but then you realise you have to do this eight more times.

A Delight!

Finished the game in about 9+ hours. Even though some of the crafting can be lengthy, you have no limit in inventory space and items can be crafted anywhere (no need to go to a crafting station or something like that). I specially enjoyed being able to do things at my own pace and collect things everywhere. The story was good and the ending was fulfilling. The art and music is amazing.

Finished it with my four year old

Nice story with a twist at the end. The game mechanics consists of gathering ingredients all over the maps to unlock and create potions. These potions are given to different characters and placed in certain places to advance the story. The game is easy and a bit grindy. I recommend gathering all the ingredients one sees instead of just the ones one needs. That way you can have ingredients ready for future potions without having to travel all over the maps. I played it with my four year old and he loved it. I loved spending time with him playing it. I moved the witch using the keyboard and he picked up the ingredients using the mouse. Parts of the game were a bit scary. To make it less scary I read the dialogue differently so it wouldn't be so scary for him. We finished it and he wants to play it again, but I'm not ready to replay it so we started Potion Craft which he loves also.
