Game would not launch at first, PC GamingWiki said to limit the cores and that fixed it, game has been great so far!

Really Fun Hack and Slash Shooter
Perfect game for anyone who doesnt know what WarHammer 40K is and wants a fun hack and slash, with some shooting and some lore thrown in. If you already love 40K then you will also enjoy it.

Excellent game
I can not believe I was unaware of this when it released. Maybe they ran out of budget for advertising the game, because a lot of money was clearly spent on development. Anyway, I played it for the first time in 2024 and it holds up beautifully to any Windows 7 era game I have played. It looks beautiful at high refresh rates and resolutions. The pacing is PERFECT. The sound is PERFECT. The challenge is what you would expect for a game of the era - pretty easy if you use the tools available, except for a couple of spikes. Gameplay wise, it is a mix of Halo and God Of War, with the power of the latter and the emotinality of the former, which is most excellente. If you experience crashes, you might want to use Task Manager to set affinity to 2 cores. It worked for me.

halo meets gears of war
this game captures WarHammer 40K perfectly. Law friendly and grimdark but fun to play. there is something satisfying about cleaving through hordes of orks with a chainsword and a bolter gun.
