Wacky Wheels

Rares sont les jeux sur lesquels j'ai passé des heures, simplement sur le contenu limité d'une version shareware, mais Wacky Wheels fait partie de ceux-là. Le principe est très simple: Mario Kart. Tout est dit dans ces deux mots, et le jeu l'assume pleinement, allant même jusqu'à proposer des bonus reposant un peu plus sur l'habileté et un peu moins sur la chance. Le mode "versus", par exemple, est un régal, et je le considère même comme très supérieur à l'original sur super nintendo.

My dad had got this on floppy when I was about two it was the first game he introduced me to along side with Duke Nukem 3D and DOOM. Being able to play it again brings back so many memories at the time I was only into computer games i had never heard of Mario at the time so I did not know it was based off Mario kart but it was fun non the less even now 18 years later and I still say its worth playing even if its an old dos game and aimed more at kids.

What can I say about this game that hasn't already been said? It's whacky. It's got wheels. It's now available for purchase, which to me I find ironic in that the game was originally freeware. At any rate, the driving mechanics are excellent. The shooting is an all-time favorite of the kids. The levels are fabulously drawn. It's an all-around fantastic game. Buy it.

I played the demo when I was a kid, had a good time, but in playing it again as an adult made me see how lacking this game is, just a shell of the game it's trying to mimmic.

The graphics can make you dizzy. Pixels moving fast is hard to look at. Cute characters and good nostalgia.
