Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption

A lot of attention to detail, complicated lore, interesting locations, but a bit wasted on a very plain RPG where you just go and fight monsters. Back in the day, though, a real attempt at genuine innovation.

After I bought this, I couldn't find it in my library. I looked it up in the store and selected the "view in library" option but it wouldn't let me install it

Someone needs to take all this games gorgeous maps and areas and UNLOCK EVERY SINGLE DOOR. Delete all the quests Add a re-spec option for skills and just let us enjoy killing all the games creatures an spells and stuff and never lock the abilities player to return to the level up station/storage chest would have been a 10/10 if they didnt lock all doors behind us and stop us from returning to merchants and things like that constantly they expect us to go on 10+ no-rest sections of the game and just drop loot we find on the floor? I still like this more than bloodlines, bloodlines feels lower quality to me, chummy, and like it was made for kids **rant about games being about story** i literally wish all games on earth were story-less. Without cutscenes or dialogue. I already watch youtube and fantastic movies all day long. im not going to pretend like video games can compete. Humans are incapable of making good fiction i could write a whole non-fiction book about it. Real life is so mcuh stranger than fiction (think about the titan submersible going to visit the titanic, or the kobe bryant helicopter tragedy, or covid leading to nationwide toilet paper hysteria). Whereas all works of human fiction are depressingly predictable, if they talk about someone a lot that means they will not be dying ever, etc etc, if one level is 40 minutes long then you know NO future levels will be 5 minutes long. If you find 18 bullets in a locker you know you wont find 4000 bullets in the locker next to it etc. Humans are depressingly predictable. But real life is thankfully much much much cooler. In a real life zombie apocalypse you might find 40,000 rounds in someones basement. But that would never happen in a movie or an apocalyptic game. Nobody ever flourishes in survival movies etc. Humans are incapable of making twists or something different like life can. Literally incapable.
