Tyrian 2000

I rembered this game well so when I sat down to download and play it I thought I knew what I was getting into. I forgot about the addiction. Once you start playing and get into your blasting groove it is very hard to stop.

as most of you already know, there's an open source SDL port of this game. so why download this version? a) you're a idiot with dosbox settings b) you want to play it with midi music except (a) is probably not applicable since most modern machines should run the open source port better or faster than with dosbox. so yeah, download this version if you want to listen to the music in midi and/or you actually want the game to run slower for reasons.

DISCLAIMER: This is a first impressions review, and NOT a full review, if you want a full review, then please read better reviews then mine This is a great space shooter. Can be a bit complicated at first, but it really gets interesting after a while. The soundtrack is beautiful and the amount of weapons and hidden items makes this a worth while free game! RECOMMENDED :)
