beautifully iritating
For starters, this game has excellent dark-sparkly graphics and beautiful soundtrack which make up for a great general atmosphere that draws you to play the game on and on... Each of these three characters has its use, although I have found the knight to be the least useful due to thief's incredible arrow spam at later levels.Still useful when overcrowded with skeletons, though! Swinging with the thief and building constructions with the mage are really, really interesting things to play with, and there are plenty of challenges to find in the game for these skills. The only things that are sometimes irritating are flocks of bats (too fast to hit with bow, and too fast to hit with sword without being hit in the process) and minute-long incessant spawns of skeletons while you are trying to build that tower of cubes or a bridge over a lake of lava with the mage. However, just spam a ton of arrows and these thing go away pretty fast :)
