Really well made game
I finally got around to playing this game today and I sunk a good 2-3 hours non-stop into it. Very good game, metroidvania if you will. I encourage everyone to play it.

Masterpiece
I first became familiar with the independent genre and games through Minecraft. Minecraft is a classic and many can attest to the game's core creativity and originality. Like Minecraft, Treasure Adventure Island offers a creative/original concept and gameplay. Throughout the game, the player is presented with puzzles, exploration, and platform aspects. There are things which could make one remark of a surprise or wonder. For instance, I was stuck on obtaining the Sea Chart and never knew the map was easily accessible via hidden door above the Pawn Shop. Small things such as these offer a sense of discovery. The simplistic visuals correspond well to the environment. I'm reminded of nes/snes games for some reason. The gameplay is what shines and has a certain charm which appeals. Music plays a major role and fits well, I'm often idling while listening to the music. This game became one of my favourites since owning it for several days and grown rather accustomed to the enjoyable gameplay.

Seriously...
Finally got through the incredibly long intro only to have it crash. I don't have that kind of time to waste unfortunately. Please look at adding 'skip intro'. I've avoided replaying FF2 for the same reason so you're in good company.
