Well worthy Diablo 1 successor
Torchlight is extremely well done, although short, Diablo clone. Holds up incredibly well even today, in 2017. Warcraft-like graphics didn't age a bit, combat is satisfying and punchy, and plenty of loot to navigate through. The story is a bit lackluster, but who cares about the story anyway. Sleep tight, Runic games, we'll miss you.

First Rate ARPG
While Torchlight 2 is better there is still enough charm to Torchlight 1 that I still play here it and there. A very simple but well designed take on Diablo, it offers 3 classes, a primarily ranged class, a magic class, and a melee class. They can have multiple different builds and there is a lot of great gear to find. I've put hundreds of hours into this game, back before Torchlight 2, before Diablo III (which I ended up not caring for) before Path of Exile and Grim Dawn, Torchlight was the game to carry on the Diablo II lineage. It can be bought for a song when on sale and although it is quite sad that Runic has closed this game is still well worth the money and well worth your time to play it.

Pretty good Diablo 2 clone
This game from a design standpoint is almost a carbon copy of Diablo 2, minus the multiplayer. For the most part, that's a good thing. I found the difficulty reasonable for most of the game. Near the end, I very suddenly started getting one-shot a lot, so there's a balance issue there. Unfortunately my character wasn't able to complete the game because the final boss looks to take a couple hours to whittle down, and due to a bug the final battle reset one of the times I died. Had to knock off a couple stars for that, and at this point I probably won't finish it because I would have to grind quite a bit and then grind the battle itself, and honestly the story is pretty thin and cliche and not very engaging.

Dobra gra Action RPG
W Torchlight z początku nie przekonywała mnie ta kreskówkowa oprawa graficzna. Mnie osobiście, bo nie każdemu to przeszkadza. Kupiłem i zagrałem... Nie zawiodłem się! To naprawdę przyjemna i fajna gra. Można przysiąść do niej na krótko, badź na parę godzin. Wciągnąłem się w rozgrywkę i przyzwyczaiłem do tej grafiki. Mimo iż nie jestem weteranem Action RPG, zdecydowałem się od razu rozpocząć przygodę w trybie Hardcore, gdzie śmierć bohatera jest nieodwracalna. Polecam - w tym trybie najlepiej ją poczujesz. To ostrożne bieganie kawałek po kawałku wypatrując wrogów. Te palce spoczywające ciągle w gotowości na klawiszach odpowiedzialnych za picie miktur zdrowia i many. Gra cały czas trzyma klimat, który stopniowo narasta. Jak schodzimy coraz głębiej, to atmosfera gęstnieje i robi się coraz mroczniej. Z muzyką robi się to samo. Sterowanie postacią jest przemyślane i bardzo wygodne dla gracza. Interfejs przejrzysty i intuicyjny. Zwierzak, który nam towarzyszy w przygodzie to świetna sprawa. Naprawdę pomaga nam w walce i sam rzuca czary, których go nauczymy. Pomaga dźwigać ekwipunek. Najwygodniejsze jest to, że w każdej chwili możemy wysłać go na górę z niepotrzebnymi gratami aby je sprzedał. Jakiś czas radzimy sobie bez niego (jego brak jest odczuwalny), po czym wraca do nas z kasą. Sami na powierzchnię wracamy poprzez tworzony portal, aby ulepszyć swój ekwipunek i wykonać misję poboczną. Grę można przechodzić wielokrotnie: podziemia są generowane losowo nawet w wątku głównym. Po ukończeniu fabuły można nadal rozwijać postać albo odesłać ją na emeryturę i podzielić się sławą i ekwipunkiem z nowym bohaterem. Jeśli lubisz ten rodzaj rozgrywki to polecam. Gra nie jest wybitna, ale jest dobra. Wysoka jakość za niewysoką cenę. To solidny przedstawiciel swojego gatunku.

Nice Diablo Clone
The only relevant negative points for me are: * the story is next to non-existent, a little more love would have helped a lot (I am not through the game yet, but so far only 4 types of quest have been accessable: kill some boss, fetch some ember, search for an object in the special dungeon and the main quest... * the map is barely recognizeable in the center mode and far too small in the top-right corner Positive is that they took practically all nice game elements and added a few nice touches here and there.
