Tinykin

I liked nearly everything down to the concept of Pikmin, except the timer. I tried powering through despite that but the timer killed any fun I was having. Hesitantly I got Tinykin at the time on the Switch for dirt cheap and thought I'd give it a try. Goddamn was that a good decision. It has the best elements of Pikmin and no timer. Areas are huge with plenty to do and fun to be had. I obviously liked it so much that I bought it again now that I got rid of the junk Switch. Can't believe how fortunate I am that I caught it on sale let alone GOG has it. This game is phenomenal and can't wait to play it again.

The gameplay is good, and the level design is even better. The animations are pretty, the attention to detail is astounding, and the characters are very interesting

Franchement ce jeu est top, l'équipe a fait un boulot incroyable dessus, l'exploration est très bien fichue, pas de punition pour ne pas trouver un endroit ton caché et traitre, les gameplay au petits oignons, la direction artistique impeccable, les musiques excellents, l'ambiance tout mignonne, je m'éclate!

I bought this game on sale because I was looking for games that my kids might enjoy. I thought it looked cute and fun and I liked the idea of exploration. I was not expecting to have as much fun with it as I did myself! Once I started I simply couldn't stop. I had the main storyline finished within a few days due to some late nights. My kids equally loved it. It's simple: explore and find the Tinykin in each room and solve each room's quests. Each room becomes more complex and, until the last room, requires the aid of new types of Tinykin. It felt like a great mix of Pikmin and Chibi-Robo! Just free-roaming a giant old house and slowly enhancing your character's ability to travel and float. They even give you a soap-board to cruise around on! The controls were super easy, and the characters were all super well done! I really can't recommend this game enough! If you're looking for a game that is low-pressure, full of exploration at your own pace, and fun and relaxing, then this could very well be your next great purchase!

TinyKin provived me with the same level of joy as the Toy Story 2 and 3 games, back when i was kid. It's a really charming and fun little game, that's all. I loved collecting every single thing on it (Except the wasp races, but it's more of a skill issue on my part rather than necessarily the game's fault. In fact, i'd say the challenge they provide is pretty tight, but fair). Oh, i also think this is a great game to make/let kids play.
