Interesting story but boring gameplay
I played the game normally until the end of the dwarven area, which is about midgame. And then couldn't bear the tedious gameplay anymore. I forfeited and skipped the rest of the battles until the end of the story. The story is good and it was worth the 6 euros i paid for it overall. But I wouldn't recommend it, unless you really, really like Gwent.

Must play for Witcher and RPG fans, highly recommended. Beautifully written characters and dialogues.

I would rather give 4,5 instead of 5
As usual for CD Project Red, the game has solid storyline with awesome polish voiceacting. The game can work even on a laptop with integrated graphic card (Intel HD Graphics user here), so basically anyone can play it. The game is not super long, it took me over 20 hours to finish it, but it still more that I expected. I'm not sure if 80 zł (so, like 15-18 dollars/euro) is a good enough price for it. If you find this game on discount, like 50 zł or less (10 dollars/euro), you are a fan of Witcher and fan of card games, you better buy it! I love that one battle, which beautifully relates to the one in books of Sapkowski. I also like the fact that you are making choices that actually make difference in the game. Some card riddles were annoying, some were fine. The problem of this game right now is that gold chests are not much of a reward. Sure, they give you some gold, but also provide you with some items for multiplayer Gwent game. Considering the fact that CDP does not support multiplayer anymore (also mobile version)... Well, it looses a value. Anyway, it was worth to play this game.

Hidden gem
This game plays like a combination of gwent and audiobook, a really good audiobook in which you decide how the story unfolds. Very often your decisions matter and you must face the consequences. The gwent riddles add nice twist to the game. They are not overly hard, but let you experience different play styles and shinanigans. Played at the hardest difficulty so can't say how hard this game is at lower settings. Sometimes the fights were a bit of a challenge. You have to be prepared to switch some cards in and out and do not get 100% attached to your tactic since it changes over time. Had a great experience.
