Just quite simply a story-telling masterpiece! I especially love the subtle references to the Monkey Island series.

Didn't take me back to the 80s
I am a big fan of point and click adventure games, but somehow I was unable to get into the story or care about the characters, so after 2-3 hours I simply deleted it. It's not that it was particularly hard, but I fear I have acquired a more discerning taste than I had back in the early 80s. Or maybe this was never my kind of humor? But there's so many great games out there, and they're all pretty cheap, so in the end, it doesn't even matter.

Needs a faster pace
It's got a nice graphical style, lots of animations and looks pretty. Everything is voice acted and the overall quality of the game is pretty ok. It gets annoying switching between actions constantly and you're going to be clicking, a lot. Characters don't run sometimes, other times run automatically. The edge of the screen doesn't automatically transition when you walk to it, you have to release the mouse and click again. My clicking finger is tired. Some of the puzzles require a lot of walking back and fourth, others require memorisation of numbers or word combinations and if you forget you have to walk back and start a converation again. The writing is actually pretty good, but it's only about as funny as you can get without straying away from overtly PC topics. I'm happy about what I paid but I can't see finishing the game.

it's okay
it's an okay game, a shame it dosnt support 32 bit systems, which honestly makes no sense to not make it a 32 bit game, to support all systems. the story is funny and annoying, like it's supposed to be, true to it's genre. good game, 3 stars (-3 for not supporting 32bit systems, +1 for staying true to the old school genre of point and click puzzle story games)

Like LucasArts but without the fun
If you are going to make an old-school adventure game it is important to still learn from the past. Having an open world is great but having what are obviously puzzles that you can't solve yet without the game giving a lead on what is next does not make for a fun experience. Combine this with the sometimes illogical aspect of the game (using radioactive substance for something it wouldn't actually work for or going through a dialogue tree to enter a number you already know) and (in my opinion) uninteresting characters and un-funny jokes and you end up with a tedious experience. LucasArts without the funniness and cleverness but with more of the frustrating illogical puzzles.
