Just one warning...

Purchase of this "Game of the year edition" does *not* qualify you for the "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Free DLC Program" at (https://www.gog.com/game/the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_free_dlc_program) . Presumably the 'standard' version will... ??Why??

The Witcher 3 is by far one of the best Action RPGs ever made, with an enthralling storyline, a huge and well designed open world and many incredibly well written quests to get into. Things just got even better with the release of the two expansions, bringing even more content and interesting characters and, in the case of the "Blood and Wine" expansion, a brand new and visually enchanting region to visit. Beyond that, I can't say much that hasn't already been said through the press and player reviews : you simply HAVE to play it and, if you like it, try the first two episodes as well for the complete story. The one and only complain I could make is : WHY don't I get a free GOTY copy as I already have the game + season pass ? But maybe CDPR will address that later, who knows ?

Not an RPG

If you think this is an RPG, you are mistaken. This is an action game. Kingdom Come Deliverance on the other hand, is a proper RPG. RPG stands for role playing = means you can play a role how you like. That means, killing, stealing whoever you want. You can not do that in Witcher 3. The game also suffers from clunky and slow responsive controls and boring and silly combat: You can either just mash on a button killing every enemy around you, or you roll-jump around looking like something out of a cartoon. Impossible to get immersed in this.

Meh and a question

Never been a fan of the game. Solid 3.3 experience that had lot of work put into it - sort of BOTW with richer lore but without climbing. That said I wanted to replay it after seven years - any way to go back to "classic" version here?
