Good setting, bad execution
I really like the atmosphere, it's dark, it's tense. The story, as far as I have played, seems to unfold a bit slow, but still promising. The graphics are great. The concept of having two worlds simultaniously is new to me and plays a role in certain puzzles. Good idea, nice gamplay. The sound is great and helps to build the amazing atmosphere. The controls however, are atrocious. On a keyboard it's WASD, but relative to the scene and camera. This makes it sometimes really hard to control the character sensibly. The camera sometimes confusing. On occasion it jumps perspectives, which also causes change of controls. Irritating. Strange controls and camera would not make it a huge problem, but in certain circumstances it decides whether the protagonist lives or dies... in my case a lot in one particular scene (no disclose of details to avoid spoilers). For me, this breaks the immersion completely. This is just not fun or interesting, it get's tedious and frustrating very fast. For atmosphere I would give this game a 5. Unfortunately I need to downgrade it to a 2 for overall execution.

Can't get enough of these games
I have absolutely definitely for sure played this (trust me) and as such am surely at least as qualified to rate this as someone who played "barely an hour or so" of it to then proceed to write an entire thing about how one of the main mechanics isn't used except for draining PC resources, only to be completely wrong about that but still somehow making it "overall most helpful review". tl;dr: This is a great game, or at least it might be, or maybe not, who's to say. Either neither Ignisbruno nor me, or both of us, that's for sure. Steam reviews are an absolute farce, but at least absolute tosh doesn't manage to get pinned and highlighted as helpful there.

Atmospheric and story driven
Nice straight atmospheric horror game. Almost through end liked every bit. Hoping there will be more. Sure I'd like even more dual-world mechanics, but it sure cannot be judged by the first hour... As others mentioned, at times the game is not very well optimized. With an I7 and RTX2070 Super I'm still only playing at medium and at some points the game is stutterin in camera movements. Also Bloober needs to patch a problem that always puts back the FPS to 30...
