The Legend of Bum-bo

When Bum-bo's only coin is stolen by a mysterious entity and pulled down into the sewer, Bum-bo finds himself facing droves of deranged enemies, lost children, his fears, and eventually the beast that stole his beloved coin.
Gameplay
The Legend of Bum-bo is a puzzle based "deckbuilding roguelike" by Edmund McMillen (The Binding of isaac, Super Meat Boy) and James Interactive, where players collect hordes of items that can be modified, upgraded and comboed with others in many interesting ways. Play as one of many Bum-bo, each with its own unique abilities, as they smash, bash and splash their way through a variety of cardboard monstrosities, giant bosses and dark personal urges...
oh also its the prequel to The Binding of Isaac!

When all is said and done though, The Legend of Bum-bo is a highly worthwhile experience. Though flawed in places, it makes good on many of its ambitions, bringing together gameplay genres and capitalizing on ideas for an experience that can enthrall longtime fans and newcomers to the Binding of Isaac universe alike.

Industry Destroying
Another game in this industry that just makes everyone lose even more faith in developers and even Indie developers. I've played the binding of Isaac due to it being different and entertaining for my 22 year old, we finished it together. But in a world of failed releases, disappointment's like Cyberpunk and an already collapsing society, we need good strong titles that can bring people together, get people interested or just restore some faith in the industry. This game definitely does none of those.
