Do you remember watching with amazement when those cartoon heroes constructed machines to catch someone or start something? Well, the answer is here! Build monkey or mouse-powered machines, use lasers and fire fireworks, start fires using a bowling ball and flint, throw things with anti gravity platforms or a jack-in-the-box or crack open an aquarium with a cat, mouse, alligator, cannon, cheese and more!

Sound not an issue

It looks like everybody here gives 5 Stars, except for some oldtimers complaining about sound. Well, I think most of them didnt find the settings for the audio. There you can switch between digital and MIDI. If you switch back to MIDI the sound is cristal clear... As for the game, it's excellent. Currently I'm not even through the tutorial puzzles. I think I'm at tutorial #45 (!)

What a Find!

Thanks GOG for finding this and allowing me to buy this and download it. This is one of my favorite games. Also works with Windows 7 without a problem.

long long time ago in a childhood

I used to play the game on my father's 486 pc when I was a kid. Game is awesome and there is an easter egg, shortly before xmas or new year the game adds xmas tree as object.

Incredible as ever

I played this game as a child and am happy to say that its as good as I remembered. My only disappointment was that they didn't incorporate the excellent CD score in the game itself, the Midi's are passable but nowhere near as memorable

A piece of my childhood

So glad to see these on GOG! I never played the earlier titles, but Contraptions and Even More Contraptions are more than worth the asking price---wonderfully tricky physics puzzles, a great visual style, and wonderful music and atmosphere. You can create your own contraptions too. Would highly recommend checking this out (good for younger gamers too).
