His consciousness ripped away, thrust back into his own body seconds before his death...

Follow Mick as he's sucked headfirst into a lunatic web of shadowy corporations, murder, and the thousand-year obsession of a madman.
The Drifter is our take on a classic 2d point and click adventure, with the brake-lines cut. The focus is on fast-paced storytelling, with puzzle-solving being the glue that ties it together. Mick's a practical guy, and so puzzles are down-to-earth too, designed to be unobtrusive, and give an investigative feel.
We're keeping the pacing quick and lean, you'll never be wandering around lost or confused- Mick is propelled through the story at a good clip, from one situation to another, with barely a moment to catch his breath. One minute you'll be crafting a Molotov cocktail from a bottle of over-proof rum, the next interrogating a crooked neurosurgeon before swinging from a high-rise window by a fraying extension lead.

Really good story and mood. The way it handles death means you're never blocked and it's part of the progression. Great little gem.

Premières Impressions
Je viens de finir le chapitre 3, et j'ai besoin de donner mon ressenti. Peut-être que je changerais mon avis à un moment donné, mais c'est mal parti pour que ce soit le cas. Bien que je ne sois pas un habitué du vieux style point-&-click, j'ai pris mon pied à comprendre certaines énigmes. L'ambiance en jette, les animations sont cool, l'intrigue me tient alerte, bref, c'est sur le bon chemin pour être un jeu dont je me souviendrai !

Trippy Conspiracy Fever Dream
Beautiful pixel art, great music, trippy story but ultimately very entertaining if you enjoy sci-fi concepts, and enough heart to ground it with a message about loss. Great VAs give the characters a lot of color, and the faact the game is fully voiced was a great surprise that helps the density of the plot go down easier. The puzzles aren't always very intuitive, but looking for non-standard solutions is part of the point of the narrative and I appreciate that they force you to think beyond the obvious answers. All in all, very entertaining ride with more than enough plot-twists to keep you hooked all the way to its conclusion.
