Just amazing
This modification is full-fleshed new game. Hard to believe it is fan-created and FREE mod. Hands down to creators of this masterpace - in my opinion it is even better than original game. I would pay money for more games like this: With great story, characters, mechanics and world instead of photorealistic graphics.

This is freakin awesome !!!
Ill just put it like this: this is a true successor to the first two gothic parts. Thats really all you need to know ! On top of that, its pretty much bug-free as far as i can tell after 30 hours of gameplay. Also: if you like this, check out the mod "chronicles of myrtana" which is as awesome as this one (not available on gog though).

Probably the best game I've ever played
This game is of better quality than most AAA titles. The story is unique, well written, truly immersive. Improved game mechanics enhanced the overall gameplay to the point that I fear I won't enjoy the original Gothic games anymore. I've put 105h into my first playthrough and already planning next ones. The game never left me bored, always had something new and exciting coming up.

You liked Gothic 1&2 ? This is a must go
I played Gothic 1 & 2 each easily 20 times. This is all i wanted! You have to play it! Didn't had any problems with polisch audio and english subtitles in Feb22, i just clicked install and started the game. Tip: As soon as you get the fast travel merchant mechanism, use it to travel even to unseen spots. Had a hard time fighting overpowered enemies, because my Gothic Ego said "No you don't use that mechanic, you can walk from location to location". But later i had to learn, that at the locations, there are a lot of this "Young wolf" etc. enemies, so i assume it's wanted to use the mechanic in "early" game and it's just 10gp per travel.
