System Shock® 2 (1999)

hello, i have problems with the final. when i jumped to shodan, the screen stay black. i can turn, and shoot, but the battle against shodan don´t startet. why? i have collect all four logs from delacroix. i need help.

I am scared.

I find it funny as a lot of people somehow dissing Bioshock when comparing with this game as if this was the most brilliant construct game ever.Dont get me wrong it was fun,but is it outdated,yeah it is.The environment is too dull,the AI is not that advance,the gameplay was nothing special.Oh wait whats that I just heard,its a 14 year old game?So what the heck are you all doing by comparing it with Bioshock? Come on people the gameplay was alright,but it is not the best construct fps game ever,it might had blown people minds in the 90's,but by today standard its nothing special.And anybody who says otherwise needs to get a grip with reality. Ok so what about the storyline?,lol people who praise it to be a masterpiece really need to go and read books.Dont get me wrong the story was alright,but calling it a masterpiece?lol,surely they're not the first people to tell a storyline with a crazy computer program.And actually I would say the game lacks of story and tries to tell it through logs,which I hate.So please dont overhyped about the storyline. Conclusion: An okay game,old but still enjoyable but is way OVERHYPED.

+ plays nice + looks decent (check mods, they can change the experience from Half-Life 1 to looking like HL 2) - too much backtracking - worth like 8-10 hours of your time, after that gets repetitive - the story is not that good at all.

I completed this game for the first time last year, and I was somewhat disappointed, and actually quite annoyed with the game by the time I had reached the end. There are a number of gameplay choices that I felt were harmful, first and foremost the respawning enemies. I found the inventory management tedious, the lack of ammo annoying, and the need to backtrack through 10 levels or so (full of new monsters) to fetch some mildly useful items ridiculous. A lot of these features don't create genuine difficulty, they are just make-work for the player. The hacking minigame (which requires no skill at all) is another example.
