Its great, but....
Its awesome with a controller, but i cant use my arcade stick because it uses a circular gate and not a square gate so it doesnt read it. but its still great.

Doesn't launch
If you have a computer that's a least a decade old, skip this, it won't run on Intel 10th gen and above, and while there are workarounds of some sort, they require technical meddling with Windows, which is never a good idea. Lesson learned, buy retro games for retro consoles and get the physical media. These digital games are not that great, and I didn't even try it for a few months because of backlog, so no refund is possible.

Terribly optimized
Runs slow as hell, and the Xbox controller is impossible to get working correctly. Start gets bound to left stick, etc. Gog, please fix this game.

i recommend retrocade sega genesis 6 button controller for playing this game the code for shin akuma that works is as follows: Complete the game on hard and enter your name as KAJ in the #1 high score slot, highlight akuma hold the SELECT (Start button on retrocade controller) press DOWN, RIGHT, RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT, DOWN, LEFT, DOWN, RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT, HARD PUNCH (OR HARD KICK) akuma should turn purple and be able to throw two air fireballs being able to actually use shin akuma makes this game worth the asking price its a perfect emulation
