Stranglehold

Don't expect this to beat out Max Payne but be sure to enjoy this. Especially since this is what Max Payne was inspired by.

Great game, but I did notice... Besides the regular jank this game has, which for a game from that era and one of the first on Unreal Engine 3, that's completely normal. But I did notice that some spots just JPEG'd out. The majority of this complaint comes from the seaside shanty level, where you're exploding things from a helicopter. A lot of the explosions just blacked out with coding in it, and it's a little jarring, but it ran so smooth that I really just went, "well, that's different" and moved on. Beat it in one sitting without even a bathroom break. Great game, finally can say that I beat it.

The game is fun but there's a problem... a me problem. There is no controller support, and I'm garbage with M&K.

THe game gave me a lot of fun and nostalgia. The gunplay feels great, the arenas are fun to run around. But with all the fun comes the frustration of repeat deaths and spongy bosses. And the multiplayer is no longer avaliable.
