Story Campaign
The population of the harsh desert planet Kwalasha needs our help. Their daily lives of hard work in the mining industries has been disturbed by a new danger that they cannot face alone: the Arachnid. The Mobile Infantry will swiftly move in, take back control over the planet and smash everything that has more than two legs. Take part in this exciting military campaign, meet unique characters, see amazing locations and experience the heroic war against the Bug.Tactics & Numbers
While the Arachnids can rely on virtually limitless numbers, the Mobile Infantry must develop effective tactics to overcome this imbalance. Deploy your units at strategic locations to cover vital choke points and gain superior firepower through tactical use of elevation levels. Be wary, however, that battle mechanics such as True Line of Sight and True Line of Fire also allow Bugs to lay ambushes around every corner, as they are well known for their use of surprise attacks and deception.Units & Abilities
An expansive range of unique units are at your disposal, each with its own strengths, weaknesses and unlockable elite abilities. Squads of Rifle Troopers, for example, form the mainstay of your forces and can utilize “shotgun suppression” or “boom bundles” when they reach the elite experience level. Starship Troopers: Terran Command is most certainly the game of the film. It gives off the same feel like the film and sticks very close to the source material with the use of bugs, the actions of the empire and the tactics of the Mobile Infantry; all that is an unequivocal positive. However, there are a few issues in gameplay. It feels like an older strategy game than it is, lacking some modern sensibilities, limited game modes, and featuring poor pathfinding. Still, despite these issues, it is a genuinely fun and strategic title that fans of the franchise will thoroughly enjoy, and general strategy fans should also enjoy.

Perfectly encapsulating the Paul Verhoven film, Starship Troopers: Terran Command strikes the right balance of cheesy and challenging, at least in the latter missions. While it doesn't have multiplayer or a scenario editor, the single player is a blast. We'll fight, and we'll win, I just wish my troopers weren't so dumb while we do it. Oh well, more meat for the grinder.

bon jeu pour son prix avec respect de l'œuvre originale Disney (le premier film c'est Disney ) Il se rapproche du 1 et du 3 (les meilleurs films de la série )

Good old style RTS
Solid RTS "old school" with excellent atmosphere capturing the Starship Troopers movie from 90s. Suggest to play at least "Challenging" difficulty to feel the real threat of the bugs. Missions are relatively varied for the Starship Troopers universe beyond the obvious (and quite fun) "all-the-line-defend-the-base-at-all-cost" mission. Almost finished the campaign and never felt bored during the missions so good job for their designs.

Simple, but satisfying Bug Hunting
I will preface this review by letting you know I originally played this upon release, beat it, and was satisfied with my purchase as fan of the Starship Troopers movies. I have very little experience with this type of tactical game prior to this, so I'll pitch myself as a newcomer. Since that initial launch, the game has receieved numerous free quality-of-life updates and additional scenerios, along with two paid story expansions, Raising Hell and Urban Onslaught, which also updated the base game with further improvements, even for those who didn't purchase them. I think Urban Onslaught is a great expansion, with Raising Hell being entertaining, but not as enjoyable. I will complain about the A.I. for player controlled characters, as often they will walk right into literal fire instead of around it, but that could be a deliberate choice. Also, some units (this is a partial RTS) or defensive units can be easily exploited, for example Rocket Turrets have a fixed firing range, but you can manually select any target on the map to bypass this limit, making them great for taking out structures far ahead of when you should be able to. All in all, a great game for fans of the series, or for those who just want to experience what feels like 1,000's of bugs overwhelming you at any given moment to get that adreneline pumping.
