Buy this game
Buy it. Get blown away. About 50 hours of gaming before you can even think about playing something else. Awesome developers who listen to the fanbase and patches frequently.

easy, but dead end game
This is one of those games where three/quarters is fun to play and worth the money, then comes the frustration of actually finshing the game; it can be done I assume, but it' just outright boring

Too many problems
The controls are truly awful. When playing with mouse and keyboard, I spend half my time fighting with the controls because it tries to harvest/attack where the mouse cursor is pointing rather than the direction the player is facing. It would be a very easy fix, if the player presses and action key on the keyboard, take the action based on where the player is pointed and disregard the mouse. There's no option to switch the left and right mouse buttons for people using their pointing device left-handed. There is a mod to add this functionality, but I shouldn't have to rely on mods to get basic functionality. The fishing mini game is not fun in any way, shape, or form. There is a mod to remove it. The battle system is pretty terrible due to the poor controls, bad timing, lack of defense, and poorly laid out collision boxes. The music rarely works. A track will play briefly, then silence for 10+ minutes. The RNG system of finding loot is very poorly implemented. It's pretty common to take a quest, spend the entire time looking for the needed items, and still not finding them. The game lacks very basic information, requiring the player to go to an external wiki to find out things like which season you can catch a specific fish. This game would be a five star game and one of the best games out there if the devs put a little more care into the product.
