What a nice little gem!
deemon328 summed this up pretty nicely and it was especially his review that made me give this a try. After playing through Starcom Nexus I can second everything he wrote! It's a small little gem from (I presume) a small team. It's chill and fun. Sweet and relatively short. I can only recommend you give this a shot. As a fair warning: This game is relatively short. To me personally this is no disadvantage. Quite the contrary actually. I've got a demanding daytime job and coming home from that to invest a few scarce hours chipping away at a 60+ hours block of game length just isn't that appealing to me. It would probably take me half a year to get through Baldur's Gate II these days. So I actually welcome games that are reasonably short. That way I have an actual chance seeing the end of it. Second fair warning: Some of the side quests are rather obscure and it took me a bit of googling hints to get to the bottom of these. Game is still being improved though - at least, that's what I took from some of the forum entries on steam. So, there's a chance that later versions will give you a better chance figuring out the harder part of side quests.
