Not a bad game

It really isn't a bad game, but I don't like it. Perhaps I am playing it wrong but that's how I feel one should play this game. I went for the missions one after another which combined with the random loot and survival aspect of the game meant I was really struggling even with the first main mission because I didn't grind beforehand. If a person can ignore the missions and play the game as Terarria until he/she is prepared than I think this game might be pretty enjoyable experience.

A lot of Fun (requires 64bit os)

A great game only thing is its 64 bit OS only requiring more than 2 GB of Memory, all 32 bits os versions ive tried crashed at some point or failed to start.

Lacks some essential features

It's impossible to not compare this game to Terraria, and unfortunately I feel it compares poorly. I'll be upfront with the fact that I never got past the first planet, so I never experienced, maybe, what this game has to offer beyond Terraria. The controls are much more clunky than Terraria (it's far too easy to fall off things), and the lack of a map, and pause in single player mode, is really perplexing. The game just has an unpolished and unfinished feel. The quests aren't particularly satisfying; I wasn't motivated to do them, but it also felt difficult to progress without doing so. The lack of a map detracted from the gameplay for me in particular because it made exploration somewhat more tedious -- there aren't enough landmarks for me to remember places by their look, and I don't have a map, so.... what's the point?
