No Hardware Acceleration
Would have been five stars (one of the best games ever!), but hardware acceleration doesn't work, and when the battles get furious the framerate drops. Almost wrecked my hardware trying to apply a hardware acceleration fix; I highly advise against trying to get hardware acceleration going on your own: not worth destroying your hardware... (Ditto on all this for Tie Fighter)

Awesome sauce!
What a Classic add to GOG. The X-wing games are some of the best games on PC of there genera. Here's to hoping that X-Wing vs Tie Fighter and X-Wing Alliance make the cut soon too!

This is actually NOT the Mac version
Its a DOS port. While fun the graphics are pretty bad since its basically in emulation. Don't buy this unless you have money to spend for nostalgia reasons. Still waiting for a proper Mac port.
