STAR WARS™: X-Wing Special Edition

Fantastic to see this finally here! I played X-Wing so much it pretty much was my child hood. However, I was about to buy this when I noticed as some have said this is not the collectors edition and so lacks being the 'best' version of this game. Tie Fighter is also the same. Due to this I am still using my own copy on CD and Dos Box. I really DO hope GOG fixes this as there is no real reason to not have the 'best' version of this game on here. I have decided to mention this here along with what others have said in the hope that this issue will get noticed and the game updated. I would then happily pay for a GOG copy! :)

Well, I mainly bought this for the 98 release. Could never launch it, just kept crashing. I'm on Windows 7 64 bit. Considering how easy it is to "acquire" these games from other sources, these games should just work with no real effort needed beyond launching and playing. Currently waiting on support to tell me something.

The classics over the classics and not only the Xwing. And more important we have both Xwing and the Tie fighter. In this version we have the MsDOS, and the Win98 version. The dos version have a impove vs the win 98, it is the Imuse. I think that is the best thing has been invented. And in this game are spectacular.

I had this on the Classic Mac and loved it. Wish I could play it still. Please make a Mac version. 5 Stars because it was one of my favorites of all time.
