uncontrollable
Maybe it's just me, but this is uncontrollable. The keyboard and mouse are jumping around, the spaceships are going off the screen, it's unplayable.

I got a problem here
I was hoping to link my Xbox controller and play off of that, but no joy. Ok, I'll try it on Mouse and Keyboard. NOPE! Mouse does something weird with ANY input. Tried using Keyboard alone, and the camera does some weird stuff. IDK whats ging on, but apparently i cant play this old masterpiece... :'(

Flawed but really enjoyable
For starters, I'm just a casual fan of Star Wars (I never read book or comic-books and did not watch any of the new movies) and not a great fan of shoot'em up (though I really liked Colony Wars on PSOne back in the days), so why 4 stars ? Because this game is...fun. Taking place between episode 4 and 5, the story is pretty good at keeping you interested, offers various environments to explore and relatively easy to control...but it's not perfect for few reasons. First, if you use too much the acceleration, the camera will lose you and you won't know where to focus which can pretty annoying since a lot of missions requires you to go fast (since your allies are under enemy pressure). Second, the difficulty increases very fast ! If the first missions are quite cool and easy to handle, things get serious in act 2 especially on THAT mission 12 which you'll restart a lot... Other than that, if you are skilled enough (what I'm not sadly) you can grind for medals that will unlock not only new ships but also secret missions. So despite these small flaws, this game succeed by being both for the hardcore shoot them up fan (who will try to go for the gold) AND the casual who just wants to pilot some of the most famous ships of the saga. Good job Factor 5.

Superb classic game but has a small bug
Windows 10 64bit. NVIDIA GeForce GT 710. Resolution 1680 x 1050. Microsoft Precision Pro joystick To get this to work I had to: Use downloaded files (not Galaxy) and install with administrator rights into default folder and run game shortcut as administrator. To configure joystick: Go to settings/joystick and click large 'defaults' button on the right hand side of the screen After that all worked extremely well, full screen and smooth, in fact better than it used to run back in the day. I'm so glad I did this. It's just a fantastic game, one of the best, if not the best all time flight and shoot games. All the vessels fly differently and you have to be really on the ball to complete the missions without cheats. It's a classic. Only one issue (hence four and not five stars): the vessel can get far ahead of the camera at some points. As I remember it may have been a bug in the original game, however it seems a fair bit worse now and has cost me a few missions. Hitting F1 rectifies it but often you need that finger for another button at the same time, so it does have a cost. Anyway. for £2.49 it's an absolute steal. I'm only half way through and already it's given me days of enjoyment. And when I complete it then there's the Naboo Fighter and Millennium Falcon to try the levels with.... oh, and all the secrets I never had time to unlock!

Unplayable control, you need a joystick
Its impossible to play with the mouse, even if you play with sensitivity there is some kind of dragging that make it impossible to aim. Controller are not supported. I suggest you to own a Joystick or forget about it.
