STAR WARS™ Rebellion

For those who have images upside down (I did too) it's to do with how Win 8 works. Even with the Reb fix for my CD copy images would go upside down there too. Right-click on the game's Shortcut - Properties and change the combatability mode to Windows XP Service Pack 2. It righted all the images and discolourations for me. I love this game, playing it back when it first came out, I couldn't straighten my back properly for all the hunching over I did. Still doing it today with this game.

Some games age well. This isn't one of them.

So this game would normally get a 5 star review. However I installed it a second time, as I already have over 40 hours logged on GoG Galaxy 2.0, and it literally won't work. Something to do with ddraw.dll, and a few other files. Basically it will load with really bad textures and colours. Now if I can somehow get through that, the battles (space battles) won't load as they have errors like "The Pixel format is wrong" and stuff like that. I do not know why it now won't work. But it is a great game, perhaps Windows 10 works better for it.

Hello and many thanks for this opportunity to replay a wonder game of 20 years ago! Is there any way to play this on Windows 10 PCs? I don't have anything running older Windows versions anymore... Any workaround? Emulators or similar? Thanks and may the Force be with you!
