Plutôt pas mal comme titre, mais un peu moins prenant que Star Wars - Galactic Battlegrounds.
Par contre, il est dit que le français est disponible aussi bien pour les textes que les voix, pourtant ce n'est pas le cas. En tout cas pour ma part. J'ai beau désinstaller et installer le jeu, toujours en choisissant les fichier de langue Français, rien n'y fait ... quelqu'un a-t-il une idée ?
Not even the star wars atmosphere can save the dreary combat in this game. The economic management is decent. It's shallow but satisfying enough. The space combat is really fun, the open dimensions in space are cool to see and the animations are neat.
But the ground combat is atrocious and too present in the game. The storyline has you doing a lot of ground combat with vader and other heroes and it is terrible. Grindy, bad controls, no strategy just grind until you win. It pretty much ruins the game. I'd much rather play an excellent rts like total annhilation or an excellent 4x like civ. This game doesn't really accomplish either that well.
I see people calling this a 4X game. This was made before that was a genre. 1st and foremost, I see this as a campaign RTS. Yeah, there's a touch of management and progression, but it's heart is an RTS. A little patience and awareness will lead you to victory!
Après avoir bataillé avec les fichiers pour l'avoir en français il s'avère qu'avec une configuration largement au-dessus du minimum requis le jeu rame, rame, rame .....
On a une qualité de Ground Control avec un lag de folie et une qualité graphique merdique; avec un PC 2 fois moins puissants je faisais tourner Ground control à fond et je me regalais, ce RTS Star Wars qui était prometteur (mode cinéma, commandes simples parfait pour les non-habitués des RTS) en fait est une grosse bouse galactique ... A éviter
I was salivating when this game was announced. Unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. The game has one huge flaw. It essentially has no AI in the map portion of the game. Unlike a traditional 4X game where the AI will build forces and attack your planets, this game's AI just sits there. I once experimented with this and left the campaign running (it is in real time) while I was at work for 8 hours. I came back and it had not even attacked me. This means the only fun to be had is basically scripted. There is no replay value. Sadly this was not fixed in the expansion.
