Excited but Needs to Fix Gameplay Issues
Recently downloaded this game onto my Windows 10, and the functionality is completely out of sync. Some buttons work on main screen, others don't. Have to constantly exit out of game in order for screens to reload. I've noticed other are experiening the same problem, so hopefully GOG will fix soon!

I was really excited to get this game when I found out it was on here. Its essentially unplayable. Every two minutes I have to minimize the game to refresh the screen which, I am assuming is some sort of afk response, goes so dark you cant see the game. Not sure if I'll put anymore time into this site. Not a great first.

As good as it was when it first released
As the title says. Amazing game. Works perfectly fine on my windows 10 with my gtx 1080 ti. Not really sure on whats going on with some of the other commenters but worked right out of the gate for me, no problems. Interesting thing is it goes to desktop then opens the menu when you hit the esc button in the game, does the same thing when returning to the game. Odd, but not a deal breaker. Only problem I see so far is playing Fleet ops with it is a little jenky. when you have installed Fleet Ops, navigate to that folder (usually C drive, program Files (x86)/Activision) go into the data folder. Once there rename Armada2.ldl to something else like Armada2bak.ldl (doesn't matter as long as its something new). Once you've done that you have to copy the exe from your gog game install folder paste it somewhere and rename it to Armada2.ldl and then move it into the data folder of Fleet Ops. Viola... Like I said, its not hard and is a tiny bit time consuming with the file navigation but works like a charm. Happy Playing ya'll

Has issues with Win 10
Despite the best efforts of support which included applying the unofficial patch I was unable to get this to actually work. However GOG have an exceptional refund system, so go for it, if it doesn`t work for you, you can always get your money back and this was a little gem when it was released 20 years ago.
