La Zone d'exclusion de Tchornobyl a changé de manière spectaculaire après la seconde explosion en 2006. Les mutants violents, les anomalies mortelles et les conflits entre ses nombreuses factions ont fait de la Zone un endroit où il est très difficile de survivre. Cependant, les artefacts d'une valeur incroyable qui s'y trouvent attirent de nombreuses personnes, appelées les “Stalkers”, qui s'infiltrent dans la Zone à leurs risques et périls, dans l'espoir de faire fortune ou de trouver la vérité qui se cache au cœur de Tchornobyl.
Incarnez un Stalker solitaire et explorez un monde entièrement ouvert et photoréaliste, dans une zone radioactive de 64 km² aux environnements variés à l'intense atmosphère post-apocalyptique. Tracez votre route à travers la Zone pour rencontrer votre propre destin et définir celui de l'humanité, en prenant de nombreuses décisions dans un récit épique aux nombreux embranchements.
Rencontrez les membres de différentes factions, et décidez qui mérite votre amitié... et qui mérite une balle. Engagez des combats intenses face à des ennemis variés qui emploieront de nombreuses tactiques pour vous neutraliser. Choisissez votre arme préférée parmi plus de 30 types d'armes entièrement personnalisables, et expérimentez sur vos ennemis des centaines de combinaisons mortelles.
Préparez-vous à rencontrer d'horribles créatures mutantes qui tenteront de vous massacrer en adoptant un modèle de comportement à chaque fois différent. Chaque mutant est décliné selon différents sous-types, ce qui leur donne un comportement imprévisible. Le danger le plus extrême provient de l'environnement, avec ses repaires de mutants qui chassent en meute.
Les artefacts et les secrets les plus précieux de la Zone sont cachés dans les endroits les plus dangereux. Méfiez-vous des dangereuses anomalies et des super-anomalies uniques et dévastatrices, pendant que vous recherchez les artefacts de grande valeur dispersés dans la zone. Oserez-vous affronter les mystères d'une Zone qui a pris la vie de bien d'autres Stalkers?

Great f*cking game
-Excellent story and characters -Great graphics (despite some minor UE5 issues) -Good AI (they could avoid collisions better?) -Release is better than expected 7800x3d 32gb ram 2tb NVME 4080 super -Running the game max settings @ 1440p with DLAA and frame gen at auto. 80+fps always and never drops bellow that. This game does have flaws such as doesnt run at peoples expectations with lower end rigs... Seriously its IMO a next gen game that will need a little polish here and there but NOWHERE near the crap Cyberpunk 2077 was released and I still havent finished that game as its flaws and general story line just turned me off. Now there are small pop ins once the game loads but after a few minutes it dramatically reduces or is non existent. Also the frame gen latency issue is for people who have very low FPS to make it seem playable so it ends up being like your streaming a game from somewhere else. This is non existent at much higher FPS along with this game not being some competitive shooter online, it doesnt detract from it even if Im not noticing it. Im used to Apex Legends with over 150ms latency so people need to curb their tears. To the developers who will never read this, great job! I love the sounds from the zone... it just pulls me in when hearing the distant cacophony of bullets. Very immersive!

Garbage optimization.
My specs are 16gb Ram, Ryzen 5700X, 6700XT. Played this on Gamepass for PC. The game has a long shader compiler each time you play. Like 10 minutes plus. Once into the game the FPS is between 30 to 40 FPS even with FSR. I can play pretty much anything else with Unreal 5 at 1440p 60fps. Even higher with FSR. Don't trust the Youtube influencers on their high end PCs. Fuck these companies that want $60 plus for a game that literally has no gameplayshown on anything below a 4090. Another buggy, incomplete mess that'll need a year of patches.

Are we even playing the same game?
Amazing Game! Graphics look great. Environments are great. Map is HUGE. Exploration everywhere! Performance runs amazing on Ultra settings on a regular 3090. Story seems good with plenty of choices and freedom to solve problems your way. I have not experianced any of the issues the other reviewers have talked about. Have had zero technical issues. Shaders only compiled on first launch. Only catch was I had to swap the default keybinds for directional lean and the two quick use slots, but that was personal preference and by no means a problem.
