Disappointed
I swear this was more stable on my 386 running at 33 Mhz back in 1993. Buggy, locks-up. Room for improvement.

Played when it was new
Just to let you know ahead of time. This title only ran marginally well when it was released. It would lock up or crash fairly often when it was released. So don't expect a gem. This game, while innovative, has numerous issues. Save frequently before every spelljam was a must and before every quest. It would fall into a forever looping spelljam or crash. Entering combat would sometimes cause an error and certain are spells could do it too. But I'll be getting this. I still have it in the box on the shelf. It's different and it is fun. If you like nostalgia you'll probably like this.

Crashes when boarding
Turning the music off prevents crashes during the actual fighting, but clicking the Loot button after a fight can still cause a crash. Seems like a very solveable bug, please look into this someone who knows about programming...!

Great, thanks for cool DD game
This game is great. Just at start hit alt+enter to switch DOS Box to full screen. It is good for learning how planets are postioned and ports and other Spelljammer things that actualy can be used in tabletop DD. Game is a bit older but solid. Graphics are ok, gameplay is also ok... recommended if You are into DD and have pateince for older games.

I want to like it but......
Amazingly enough, this version is even more buggy than the original release!! I played the original back in the early 90's. I enjoyed that one despite the occasional bug. This is stupidly buggy. I just had to quit the last mission because I could not kill the last bad guy who was floating in space where I could not attack him.
