90% worth it

I got this game for free, so a review is the least I can do. I'm not much for walking sims and hide for monsters all the time. So I played on easy mode for this one since I really didn't care about the monster and just wanted the story. The look, atmosphere and sound are really well made. It’s spooky and interesting at the same time. The story and ending is going to make you thing about a few things after you are done with. Gameplay is very simple. Walking around and doing small puzzles. There was only 1 puzzles I think was badly made. I had zero clue of how to solve it and needed to do a web search to find out. The rest was easy. I got SOMA for free. I enjoyed myself more than I thought I would. But it didn’t change my mind on walking sims. If I could had added anything to this game, it would have been more puzzles and less time wasted on the monsters. But overall, not a bad sci-fi thriller.

Well worth it

SOMA is one hell of a ride, right from the beginning. It spins a great tale that keeps you interested and entertained throughout the whole experience. The stealth and running-away-from-monsters elements are few and far between, serving their purpose without detracting from the story. There are some puzzle sequences, but none presenting insurmountable challenges. Along the way you will need to make some hard choices - I'm guessing you may end up staring blankly at your screen just after making them; a mark of any great adventure game, to be sure. Finally, I'd argue it's not for the faint of heart. Although story is captivating, the scenario you'll find yourself in is oppressive, dark and foreboding. Kudos for the team behind SOMA.

Pas déçu !

Quel jeu, j'ai passé un très bon moment, le scénario est intéressant, les personnages aussis, les monstres possèdent un gameplay unique. Le jeu est beau encore aujourd'hui. Cependant, difficile de savoir quoi faire à certain moment car c'est peu intuitif. C'est mon seul aspect négatif, un peu redondant par moment, mais j'ai passé un bon moment.

Totally worth the play

Back when it first came out it flew under my radar as another horror game, well I finally got around to playing it and oh my god was I wrong. This game is simply amazing and I was not expecting it to be this good

Mindblowing Story and Gameplay

Brilliant Storytelling, Intelligent enemies with specific counters, epic moments where you feel whats it like to sacrifice for your own good and how its like to lose a close friend, so many hidden info about the real story and what happened to the main character so if you dont find and inspect them, then you dont understand the 50% of the story. Easy and solvable quests so you get to enjoy and be the hero of the humanity to save them and live forever in a virtual world.
