I was hovering over the purchase button ready to click. Butthen I noticed this is a single mode game with EAC. So if any of the developers are reading, you just lost a sale.

Very good but still very buggy early after release
So far, the best Sniper Ghost Warrior game and by far. But there are 2 annoying bugs which will probably make me wait before playing more. Bug 1 - The cursor sometimes is invisible in the menu, but appears during gameplay (so you have a cursor all over the screen in a FPS )... Bug 2 - The controls locked the second time I went to customize them and I can no longer customize them. Right now, it means I cannot use health packs, grenades or throwing knives... It's very unfortunate as the game is very fluid and agreeable and these 2 are extremely basic functions which are seriously flawed.

great game 1 big issue
the big issue is it forces you to install easy anti cheat for online multiplayer which is not even in the GOG version of the game, GOG should remove EAC fom the game or atleast put a warning on the store page so people know it comes bundled with anti-cheat software, why this game has anti cheat software is beyond me not like anyone is gonna play the online part of it anyway even if you buy on steam

Old design, for the best
Early review after 5 hours or so. Remember when every other game didn't try to be an endless grind of pointless activities on a gigantic map, with microtransactions? The many who were disappointed by GR Breakpoint should certainly take a chance on this. What you get here is one tutorial area and then five maps with various main and secondary objectives. Learn how to use the weapons and a few gadgets, then start the first mission. I have seen two of the maps so far, with very different environments, both gorgeous. Snow and mist play a great role in visibility, vegetation is dynamic, the textures are good, although not outstanding even at maximum settings for a game where you sneak around, although this explains the low 12GB download (thank you for not abusing my data). The 21:9 aspect ratio is supported flawlessly, chromatic aberration and motion blur can be turned off in the menu. The game reminds me of the first Ghost Recon, although what I've seen so far makes me think that the maps could be bigger to include more dead space between locations and objectives when it makes sense to do so, because even though this isn't Dying Light or Mirror's Edge, the first-person traversal mechanics are well-handled. Maybe in later maps or in an expansion? I have bought SGW3 as well, so maybe that's more like that. The Siberian secession is the theater of some political intrigue of corruption and quest for power that thankfully doesn't ever sound anti-Russian or get in the way of compensating for wind and bullet drop-off to mangle a human skull from afar. Overall, I like the structure and the scope of the game. The design is straight to the point, it's not cluttered with unlockables, items to pick up, crafting, etc. Just travel, shoot, interrogate, retrieve documents or hack computers, stuff like that. I'm not really into stealth, so I do my best until I need to kill, and then enjoy doing so. 1440pUW with an Xbox One controller, hardest difficulty

Fun for "tactical" shooters
For some reason or other I've wound up playing every game in this franchise to at least some degree, and this is probably the best one of the series. Essentially it's a more shooter, but no less cerebral, "Hitman." The plot's goofy at best, something about Siberia, and the main character is little more than a handy blank, but if you delight in figuring the PRECISE way to sneak past or kill some mooks to perform an objective, this'll fit the bill.
