works like a charm on windows 7 after doing the Direct X Jun2010 install and doing a full DX update i thank you so much!! i have missed playing SimCity 3K and now i can!

This game deserves so much more credit than it really got since release day in 1999. I remember seeing this up for sale on release day as a little kid in the late 90s. But I never really got around to actually playing it myself until the early 2000s, when i was a little older. This was the turning point in Maxis's career in the series, going from pixelated graphics from the start in the 80s and early 90s to more updated visuals by the new millenium. Highly recommend it. Must play. One of the best Simcity games in the entire series besides 2000 and 4.

I love this game. I used to check it out at my local library all the time and play for hours when I was a teen. I'm glad Gog sells this game.

At last, a copy of the game that works on modern windows OP. The downside the Scenario Creator does not work with modern version of access. I hope this bug will be work out. Not if I ever needed, but to those who do use that feature, it would surely missed. Please fix it.
